Our Approach
Fruishi Onigiri
Fruishi has created a very special kind of soshi rice for our meals. Sweet sticky rice compliments the fresh delicious brilliance of our fruit and sauces. O-nigiri, also known as o-musubi, nigirimeshi or rice ball, is a Japanese food made from white rice and coconut milk, formed into triangular or cylindrical shapes and often wrapped in nori.
Our Story
Fruishi Wasabi
Traditional wasabi is used mainly as a condiment and is most popularly associated with being eaten with sushi. It has a very strong, pungent flavor which may be considered "hot", but not in the same way as capsaisin in hot peppers produces heat. Fruishi has created a healthy, refreshing wasabi intent on complimenting our varied "fruishi" offerings.
Fruishi Ginger (Gari)
Ginger or Gari is often served and eaten after sushi, and is sometimes called sushi ginger. It is considered to be essential in the presentation of sushi. It is used to cleanse the palate between eating different pieces of sushi, or alternatively before or after the meal. It is sweet, thinly sliced young ginger that has been marinated in a solution of sugar and vinegar. Young ginger is generally preferred for gari because of its tender flesh and natural sweetness.
Fruishi Ginger is known to aid in diabetes, digestion, reduce nausea and help fight the flu and common cold, not to mention preparing you for your next yummy Fruishi tasting.
Fruishi Chopsticks
